What is the Chobots Council?

The Chobots Council is basically a board of advisors. It is made up of 8 different members, and each member represents the interest of their respective rank. For example, a citizen Councillor (member of the Council), will represent the citizen users when the council is faced with issues that involve citizens. The Council is able to cast votes on issues and thereby "force" the Chobots administration to make a certain decision.

Why was the Chobots Council founded?

The Chobots Council was founded in order to make sure that the opinions and issues that users face are appropriately voiced to the Chobots administration. It was also founded to act as a board of advisors, so that the Chobots administration can ask the Council for its view on certain topics or issues.

How can I become a Councillor?

You can become a Councillor by being active, following the rules, and showing interest in the Council. After being nominated by a Chobots admin you need to be elected through popular vote by a specific group. The groups responsible for electing are as follows:
Jr. Junior Councillor: General Community
Sr. Junior CouncillorTesting Team
Jr. Citizen CouncillorGeneral Community
Sr. Citizen CouncillorForum Team
Journalist CouncillorJournalist Team
Agent CouncillorAgent Team
Moderator CouncillorModeration Team

What happens if a Councillor resigns?

Once a Councillor resigns, they will be stripped of their title, and the Chobots team will seek another candidate to take the vacant position. This candidate will follow the standard voting procedure.

What if a Junior Councillor buys citizenship?

The Councillor will keep their position on the Council, unless they choose to resign. They will still represent the Junior users.

What are the benefits of being a Councillor?

A Councillor receives a monthly allowance and a badge on their playercard. They keep this position forever, until they are found guilty of breaking the rules or until they decide to resign.
